Temperament:
The Irish setter is full of energy and gets along well with others. They are very spirited and loving. They do not like harsh discipline for they will not respond. We recommend a calm approach to training and plenty of walks to help release their energy.

Living Environment:
They are not good for apartment living. They require a lot of exercise and plenty of walks. A large yard to run around in will be fine.
