| Habitat: | Minimum 10 gallon for 2 Spiney Mice or larger with tightly sealed lid with Care Fresh bedding or Pine Shavings. Should be kept away from windows and at least 75 degrees farenheit. |
| Diet: | Seeds and grains such as a basic Gerbil or Hamster seed mix. They require extra protein such a dog or cat kibble high in protien but low in fat. Occasionally give fruits and vegetables as a treat. |
| Notes/Description: | Under no circumstances should you ever have one Spiney Mouse for a pet. They are sociable pets and need to be paired together.
They are very fascinating to watch in Crittertrail cage set up. They will entertain you for hours. They like running wheels, grass huts and chew blocks to play with. |
